Is the Zone System relavent today as it was 70 years ago? I would say it certainly is and without my knowledge and training on the Zone System when I was printing and using film, I don't think I could understand what I'm trying achieve in the digital darkroom today. I'm currently working through a digital workflow of how I use the Zone System in the digital world, this will be available as a E-book soon.

Launch night of new show

 Last Friday saw me launch my latest work for Natural Scene, concentrating on black and white landscape photographs of National Parks around the world. Some of the exhibits are online on my website:

"Craig's latest study of work focuses on the natural scenes of National parks and places of beauty he finds on his journey to the national parks of Europe and America. Craig hopes to inspire people to find their breathing space in the environment, by displaying what can be seen and found if the viewer chooses to look with a quieter more appreciative mind. Craig's large format work will be presented in bespoke reclaimed wood frames to compliment his passion for an unspoilt environment. Inspiring people to enjoy our world… "

Pen y Fan, Brecon - South Wales

Pen y Fan, in the Brecon Beacons is the local stomping ground for myself, getting quite excited to shoot some images up there over the next few days. As looking at the weather report for next five days, rain next two and then sunny which makes for excellent quality in the light to get out and shoot.
